I am still a (wannabe) artist and my name hasn’t changed, but I haven’t “performed in public” as it were for quite some time…
Seriously though, at one time I was a staunch supporter and contributor to the phpBB cause and even founded and ran a website named ForumImages.com. It was somewhat successful, far too much for one person hell-bent on being all things to all men (and women). The stark reality of trying to quench an unquenchable thirst and sheer moronic behaviour of some finally took its toll and I simply deleted the site and, with a few detours, went back on my way back to real life. I have since made apologies to those who deserved one and whilst it’s pleasing to see so much of the results of my efforts still around, I very much doubt I shall go down that route again — my brief reappearances at phpBB have left me feeling I would be wasting my time.
Maybe one day I shall have a rant (or two) about the whole situation.
I still appreciate and use phpBB.
