The below images are to be used to link back to the phpBB web site and would seem to have a few different names; web badges, web buttons, linkback or link back buttons, etc. The images dimensions are 80px × 15px and all the different versions show below are included in the download.
Though not specifically made to replace the “Powered by phpBB © 2000, 2002, 2005, 2007 phpBB Group” credit line in the “overall_footer” & “simple_footer” templates it may be acceptable to use such as the following;
Please note that you need to change <PATH_TO_IMAGE> with the appropriate path to the image you chose, e.g. “http://example.com/images/button_phpbb_all.png”.

In the absence of a ruling by the phpBB Group, whether the use of an image to replace the text link is acceptable (as far as support being provided) is entirely up to the phpBB Group and/or their representatives.
